Who is Jolle?

Jon Prelvukaj, also known as “Jolle“, is an artist and producer from Peja, Kosovo.

He showed interest in music from a young age, when he started playing guitar and bass. During elementary school, Jolle enrolled into the local music school in his city where he made new friends and started a band. After a couple of months of practicing together, the band fell through, but his passion for music did not.

Jolle started recording simple loops and song ideas with his guitar and bass. This habit of making loops would soon develop into an interest for making hip hop beats with a live instrument twist to them. Jolle spent a few months making simple beats on GarageBand for iPhone, before acquiring the necessary equipment to start producing on his computer. Just a few months after making his first beat at 16, Jolle started selling beats to SoundCloud rappers, and then expanding onto the local music scene in his country.

His earlier electronic, metal and jazz influences (and the samples often used in his music) played a big part in shaping the sound that he is well acknowledged for.  Known for his unique style and sound selection, he has made a name for himself on the local scene from a young age.

Now mostly focusing on making music for himself, Jolle has started producing exclusively for his associated acts and intends to only bring unheard, mind-captivating sounds to the local scene in Kosovo.

He has production credits on songs by: Lluni, Malik, Donito, Seyko and has also worked on projects by popular artists from Kosovo that have yet to be released.
